Vi Buffs in LoL Patch 11.22
Vi has been buffed to feel a lot better and be much more consistent with her Q and R. She is going to play much smoother thanks to the changes. Gone are the days when her crowd control was unpredictable, and now we will get body-slammed by her over-and-over with confidence.
Her Q dash range, around a wall, has been extended by 50 units. Also, you’re now able to flash during her Q on top of opponents. Enemies hit by her Q get knocked back immediately and distance traveled and damage dealt are now based on exact channeling time instead of every 0.25 seconds.
That’s just the changes to her Q. Her R also got some updates! The knock-up duration is a consistent 1.4 seconds and Vi's ult knock-up will take effect once she is 300 units from her primary target instead of varying between 0-300 based on 0.25 second intervals. She is going to be much smoother and better to play with all these changes!
Goredrinker Nerfs from LoL Patch 11.21 Dialed Back in Patch 11.22
So, Riot overshot a little in LoL Patch 11.21 with their nerf to Goredrinker. The item was basically useless, and that after being the go-to item throughout all of Season 11 for any bruiser champion. So, what did Riot do to fix this?
Well, they increased the health of Goredrinker to 450 from 400 and increased the Omnivamp from 8% to 10%. This will still make the item unusable for assassins but will help bruisers in their fights.
