Samira is finally getting a new skin in League of Legends and it'll even be an Ultimate skin. Why should you be picking up the Soul Fighter skin though?
Samira is getting an Ultimate skin, and while this isn't news, the fact that it's all part of the big Soul Fighter summer event is. The event will span across multiple Riot IPs and after three years we're finally going to be getting an ultimate skin again in League of Legends.
Riot released their plans for the big summer event, and just like in previous years, some of the proceeds from the event will be going to a good cause.
LoL Soul Fighter Event: Riot Reveals Social Impact Fund Proceeds
Riot Games established their Social Impact Fund back in 2019. It is a special partnership with ImpactAssets and gives players a way to make a bigger difference and help more people for a long time.
This fund is separate from Riot Games and lets them invest directly in organizations all over the world. These organizations are focused on solving important problems that affect the planet.
Last year, players got to vote for the organizations they wanted Riot to donate to, meaning that not only do they contribute, but they also have a say in what is being done with their money.
Which Soul Fighter Assets Are Part of Riot Games Social Impact Fund In 2023?
This year, Riot has revealed that 20% of the proceeds from Soul Fighter Samira will be added into the Impact Fun, as well as 20% of the Event Pass as well. Some bundles have also been included.

Ultimate skins are pretty expensive so it's interesting that they chose this skin for the donation skin this time around. In previous years Riot chose an Epic skin and gave away all proceeds during the event.
Now it'll be interesting to see whether Samira's ultimate skin can be more impactful than the Taliyah skin from 2022 which raised around $6 million.
