MSI 2023 is kicking off in a month and fans are excited to see and find out which teams will represent their regions at the second largest international LoL Esports event of the year.
MSI 2023 is going to be taking place in London, England throughout the month of May, with 13 participating teams from all over the world. In 2023, Riot is going to be making some major changes to the format, with fans calling for more meaningful best of three and best of five games.
Therefore, Riot will invite two teams from the LPL, LCK, LEC and LCS, along with the usual representatives of minor regions to the tournament. With G2 Esports having won the 2023 LEC Winter Split they've qualified to at least the play-in stage, but who will represent NA?

While G2 Esports was the first team to qualify for the tournament, on March 30, 2023, a second team has finally cemented their spot and booked their flight to London, England. Whether they'll play in the Play-in Stage or will be participating in the Bracket Stage right away is yet to be decided.

On March 31, 2023 Golden Guardians and Evil Geniuses will play at LCS studio to determine which team is going to play in Raleigh against FlyQuest in the Lower Bracket Finals that take place a day before the Grand Finals.
The second-place finisher of the Grand Finals will also be heading to London in May. Evil Geniuses and Golden Guardians will play at 2:00 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET). The games can be viewed on the official LCS Twitch and YouTube channel.
