League of Legends Patch 12.6 is going to be released soon, but what is happening in the patch? Let's go over all the buffs and nerfs to items and champions in the coming League of Legends patch.
It feels like it’s been centuries since we’ve done a League of Legends patch update, right? We’ve had to deal with the same meta for a bit longer than usual, but at least some of the most oppressive ADCs were nerfed in a small b-patch.
It seems like season 12 is the season of revision. In Patch 12.3, Riot decided to curb some power of fighters, while Patch 12.4 had them change how support items worked to prevent top laners from abusing enchanters like Janna, Karma and Taric. Now, sustain is getting hit as well.
System Changes in LoL Patch 12.6
This is the sustain killer patch. Items and keystones that have kept champions from dying will be seeing some nerfs in this patch, and one rune is completely getting gutted. Riot is fighting the power of sustain that has taken over. Grievous Wounds isn’t enough anymore, and the big man himself has to step in.
These are all the system changes coming in League of Legends Patch 12.6
Item/System | Changes |
Fleet Footwork |
|
Legend: Bloodline |
|
Vampiric Scepter |
|
Blade of the Ruined King |

Immortal Shieldbow |

Bloodward (Ornn) |
|
Ravenous Hunter |

Some fans on Twitter have voiced their concern over these major changes. Sustain shouldn’t be something passive, and with both Life Steal and Omnivamp being in the game, maybe something could be done to combine the two sustain aspects of League of Legends. How do you feel about these changes?
Champion Changes in LoL Patch 12.6
Of course, items aren’t the only things changed in League of Legends Patch 12.6. We also have to take a look at champions. In the last b-patch Zeri, Jinx and Aphelios were nerfed, while Varus and Ashe got buffed, so which champions are on the nerf and buff block this time?
Champion Nerfs in LoL Patch 12.6
Only two champions made it onto the nerf list this time. Hecarim has become one of the best junglers in the current meta thanks to his ability to fear opponents and Tryndamere is just a menace in the top lane, especially in lower elos where players don’t know how to counter him.

Tryndamere |

Champion Buffs in LoL Patch 12.6
Everyone, get ready to split push, because Jax is getting a buff! Of course, since Draven was buffed in the 12.5b patch, his older brother Darius is also getting buffed this time around to make the top lane his b*tch once more. But there are a few more champion buffs ahead.

Rengar Rework Finally Goes Live in Patch 12.6
We’ve been waiting for over 6 months. Rengar hasn’t had the best of times lately. He lost the ability to jump when chemtech drake took away his bushes, for Riot to change that he can jump whenever camouflaged as well, but that wasn’t what Rengar mains wanted, and now they’re finally receiving the promised mini-rework.
Let’s check out the stats of Rengars mini-rework in League of Legends Patch 12.6
Abilities | Changes |
P - Unseen Predator |

Q - Savagery |

When Will League of Legends Patch 12.6 Release?
The patch is set to be released on March 30, 2022 according to the official League of Legends patch schedule. This means you’ll be able to test out the new Rengar updates quite soon. Are you excited for him to finally be reworked?
Of course, we can’t forget the new skins being released in Patch 12.6. Sure, we’ve enjoyed the Bee skins from the previous patch, but these look amazing. Thankfully, none of them will cost us $150.
