LoL Patch 13.11 released with a Mid-Scope for Rell, but the update hasn't been too successful, with the champion feeling rather weak. So, Riot is giving her some major buffs to align her with other supports.
LoL Patch 13.11 has released a Mid-Scope Update for the most forgotten League of Legends support in existence – Rell. This update has shone a light on her though and players quickly realized that she is way too weak for the current state of the game.
Therefore, Riot has quickly released mid-patch update in which they buffed the struggling support and her new kit. Will the hotfix be able to save Rell and give her the impact that the Mid-Scope was supposed to?
LoL Patch 13.11: Mid-Patch Update Buffs Rell
Rell is getting a slight buff in this hotfix patch. Her Mid-Scope finally got released, and the balance team decided to keep her on the weaker end to see how she would fare and well... it wasn't great.
- Pick up some epic League merch. I drink my morning coffee out of a Jinx mug every single day.
Riot Raptorr, who worked on the update, even noted that she needs "a lot of help" which is why she has received quite a lot of changes and buffs.

Base Stats
- Health Regeneration: 1.4 ⇒ 1.7
- Health Regeneration Growth: 0.11 ⇒ 0.17
- Base Armor: 32 ⇒ 39
- Armor Growth: 3 ⇒ 4.2
- Magic Resistance Growth: 1 ⇒ 2.05
Passive - Break the Mold
- Armor and Magic Resist Steal: 2.5% ⇒ 3%
Q - Shattering Strike
- Base Damage: 60/95/130/165/200 (+50% AP) ⇒ 70/110/150/190/230 (+60% AP)
- Damage to Jungle Camps: 250% ⇒ 300%

- Knock Up Duration: 0.75 seconds ⇒ 1 second
- Shield: 30/55/80/105/130 (+10% maximum health) ⇒ 35/60/85/110/135 (+12% maximum health)
- Self Slow: 15% ⇒ 10%
- Damage to Jungle Camps: 250% ⇒ 300%
E - Full Tilt
- Damage: 25/35/45/55/65 (+2/2.5/3/3.5/4% Maximum Health) (+30% AP) ⇒ 35/50/65/80/95 (+4% Maximum Health) (+50% AP)
- Movement Speed: Ramps up from 50% of total speed to 100% over the first 2 seconds ⇒ Ramps up from 75% of total speed to 100% over the first 2 seconds

Every single one of her abilities has been adjusted by Riot except for her ultimate, which has been left untouched by the Mid-Scope Update. These changes should give her some help though.
The added magic resist and armor growth will help Rell become a true tank engage champion that doesn't have to worry about dying when jumping in to a fight as much.
The team even went ahead and buffed some of her jungle damage, though we doubt that we're going to be seeing jungle Rell anytime soon.
