Kaldheim Starnheim Unleashed — STARNHEIM UNLEASHED: Is this Apocalypse Now? Because I can already hear the Ride of the Valkyries. If you use Starnheim Unleashed’s Foretell ability (which you should), you get two Serra Angels for the price of one! And even a 4/4 flying, vigilance is already a banger of a card, especially as there aren’t that many bounce spells around. Imagine casting this spell in the late game... Kaldheim Alrund — ALRUND, GOD OF THE COSMOS: Admittedly Blue doesn’t get much in Kaldheim when it comes to bombs. But Alrund is one of the best cards you can get. Not only does he provide card advantage starting from your first end step after playing it, if you look at the flipside (quite literally) a 2/3 flying for two is INSANE. The best part? You can play Hakka and still profit from Alrund's ability later. How good is that? (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)

Kaldheim Valki — VALKI, GOD OF LIES: Lok... uhm sorry, Valki is another banger. At just two mana he is pretty much a targeted discard spell. Take your opponent’s best creature and steal it. Oh, but discard spells aren’t that great in Limited you think? Well, if your opponent doesn’t have handcards anymore, why not play Tibalt who can act as removal and card advantage. Kaldheim Birgi God of Storytelling — BIRGI, GOD OF STORYTELLING: I envy her kids; she must have the best bedtime stories... While her front side is relatively niche, it’s still really powerful in the right deck. Her backside makes you want to blow your own horn. Discard a land, draw two cards, sign me up. Honestly, Harnfel, Horn of Bounty seems kind of obscene. (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)

Kaldheim Goldspan dragon — GOLDSPAN DRAGON: Everyone has talked about it, I know. But what can you do, it’s just insane. 4 is pretty much the magic number when it comes to stats in this set. Goldspan Dragon beats most of the flying creatures and trades against the rest (with a few exceptions of course). The haste gives your opponent even less time to find an answer. Goldspan is most certainly the best finisher mono red has. (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)

Battle Mammoth Kaldheim — BATTLE MAMMOTH: A 4 mana 6/5 that replaces itself when it gets removed? I’m already sold. Thing is, this creature, that looks like it’s about to trample on some riders of Rohan, does exactly that: it tramples. If you plan to go aggro in green, this is a sick top end. Firja Judge of Valor Kaldheim — FIRJA'S RETRIBUTION: We already talked about a 4/4 flying, vigilance is great. This Saga goes even further beyond. The ability to kill a creature after you attacked with your angel is just gross. If uncontested, this will probably just win you the game. It’s kind of absurd actually. Kaldheim Kaya inexorable — KAYA, THE INEXORABLE: Let’s stay Orzhov. I know Planeswalkers are pretty lame, but what can I do, tell you they’re bad? How could I, just look at this. She has high loyalty, protects herself, has a way of producing card advantage, and a game-winning ult. Remember, if you have her emblem, you can cast her from the graveyard, meaning infinite Kayas... Kaldheim Predator — IMMERSTURM PREDATOR: Man, Black really does have some great options this set. Immersturm Predator reminds me a little of Wicked Wolf. Now, it doesn’t act as a removal spell, but it’s way better at killing your opponent. If you have enough puny sacrifice fodder, this mighty vampire-dragon (wait what, how... never mind) will single-handedly win you the game. (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)

Koma Cosmos Serpent Kaldheim — KOMA, COSMOS SERPENT: Who doesn’t love busted Simic mythics. While I don’t expect Koma to do well in Constructed, in Limited it’s hard to imagine a position where this doesn’t win you the game. The fact that its ability triggers on each upkeep mean, that sorcery speed kill-spells just don’t do it. Now exile spells are a whole different thing, but there aren’t that many exile spells in Kaldheim. (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)
