Doomskar: Especially in formats like Historic, cheap Wrath effects are important. The fact that you can play Doomskar as early as turn three is simply INSANE. Reidane, God of the Worthy: What helps against a turn three sweeper on-the-draw? A turn three Reidane on-the-play! Reidane becomes the most important card in aggressive creature decks, mark my words! Starnheim Unleashed: Good control finishers are hard to find especially in blue-white decks. We present to you the solution: Starheim Unleashed. Valki, God of Lies: With Tinybones, we already have a good two-mana creature for a discard deck. Valki fits perfectly into this type of deck. It solves the discard problem often by allowing you to simply play it as a planeswalker later in the game. (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)
Goldspan Dragon: It's not a Glorybringer but it doesn't want to be. Glorybringer was really good in pure mid-range decks. Goldspan is much better when you combine it with counter-spells. You play the dragon and attack with it. Your opponent wants to kill the poor Dragon, but you can easily counter your opponent's spell with the treasure mana. Works 100% of the time - 50% of the time. Elvish Warmaster: The Elvish Warmaster is put into absolutely every Elf deck. It's a token engine and a finisher in one card. The 2-mana slot is highly contested, but if any card has a chance, it's this one. Not particularly exciting, but all the more powerful for it. (Credit: Wizards of the Coast)
Kaya The Inexorable: 5-mana planeswalkers are always strong. Kaya follows the same pattern as many of her world jumpers. A plus ability that gives card advantage, a minus ability that destroys something and protects the planeswalker, and an ulti that wins the game. Tibalt's Trickery: Red gets a counterspell? Sounds weird, but don't worry, it's not really a counter at all, it's a 2-mana Ugin, or Ulamog, or Koma. You paint the world the way you like it. How does that work, you ask? You play a spell that costs 0 mana and cast Tibalt's trickery on the said spell. Then you just have to pray and spin the wheel of fortune... Maskwood Nexus: Okay, I admit it, the card is not actually good but you know what? I don't care! You thought elves or goblins were the best? Totally wrong! Minotaurs are the shit! Masked Forest Nexus turns ALL your creatures, anywhere, into minotaurs, and then with Deathbellow war cry, you can get any four creatures you want out of your deck.
