Gamer Beats Elden Ring's Toughest Boss – With Morse Code

A streamer used an unconventional method to defeat one of Elden Ring's most difficult enemies, using Morse code to perform actions with a single keystroke.

Ah, Malenia, the Elden Ring's formidable foe, has seen quite a bit since its release. She has been defeated in the most unusual ways – by a goldfish, on a dance pad, you name it. Now, a streamer has defeated her with a single button press. To do this, he used Morse code.

Malenia Is Defeated Again – By Morse Code

Morse code was developed and used in the 19th century to send messages by telegraph. Simply put, this code translates characters such as letters or numbers into a rhythm. Aside from unusual Elden Ring challenges, Morse code is used today primarily for air and sea communications.

There's almost as much to see as there is to hear in streamer Silithur V's video. He takes on the toughest Elden Ring opponent by pressing a single red button. No, it's not the ultimate red death button for instant one-hit victory. The player uses Morse code to communicate various actions.

The challenge here is not just the need to "reprogram" one's brain. Once controller operation has become ingrained in muscle memory, a complete change in mindset is required. It's also quite difficult to be fast enough with the code.

By the way, Silithur V didn't just defeat a boss using this technique. He's completed the entire game using this method.
