Helldivers 2 has received a new patch for PC and PS5. It's the second major update, including a new higher level cap, new weather and a few balancing fixes.
Helldivers 2 is already one of the most successful games this year on Steam and PS5, with very good reviews. Now it got its second major patch with some nice updates to the game.
Increased Level Cap For Hell Divers
Previously, Helldivers 2 had a level cap of 50, set to prevent progression beyond that point. While reaching level 50 requires a significant amount of mission completion, some players have already reached this "level cap". Developer "Twinbeard" had already confirmed an increase a few weeks ago - now the game has received an update that raises the level cap to 150.
Improved Armoring, More Extreme Weather And Multiple Adjustments
Now, you may encounter blizzards and sandstorms in the World of Helldivers 2. Armor has been improved, medium armors reduce damage by an additional 5 percent, and heavy armors by 10 percent.
In missions to rescue essential personnel, enemies now spawn a bit further away. Additionally, fewer civilians need to be rescued on higher difficulty levels.
In missions to destroy command bunkers, there are now more target objectives on the map. The mission can occur starting from Operations of difficulty level 5. Also, the effect of operations modifiers on cooldowns has been halved.
