Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and once again shines with the power of new hardware.
With Horizon Forbidden West, the stunning story of Horizon Zero Dawn received an at least equally impressive sequel in 2022. Praised by critics and celebrated by players, the PlayStation exclusive game received excellent reviews, highlighting the outstanding graphics and vast open world.
Soon, PC players can also experience the post-apocalyptic open world and even get a bit more out of the title.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Launches With Additional Features On PC
The Complete Edition, which will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games) on March 21, includes not only the base game but also the Burning Shores DLC, including new storylines, characters and machines. But that's not the only advantage that comes with the PC version.
The game will include the following bonuses, and if you pre-order, there's something extra:
- Blacktide Outfit and Blacktide Bow (available only with pre-purchase)
- Nora Legacy Outfit and Nora Spear (available only when linking your Steam account to PlayStation Network)
- 2 Special Outfits (Carja Behemoth Elite and Nora Thunder Elite)
- 2 Special Weapons (Carja Behemoth Short Bow and Nora Thunder Sling)
- In-game Resources Pack including ammunition, potions, and travel packs
- In-game Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike Piece
- Exclusive Photo Mode pose and face paint
The Complete Edition on PC will also provide unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings, and a wide range of performance-enhancing technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3 for upscaling and frame generation. Additionally, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS are supported. If you have the right rig, image-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA is also available. The game utilizes DirectStorage for swift loading times on PC.
For the absolute immersion, this version also provides ultra-wide support, including not only a 21:9 and a 32:9 resolution but also a 48:9 resolution if you're using three monitors. Who needs the VR anymore?
The choice of your favorite peripheral device is up to you. You can, of course, play with a classic mouse and keyboard setup, but the game also supports all controller configurations, which you can remap using the Steam feature.
