After a childhood full of Pokémon, Sims and Kingdom Hearts, it was only a matter of time before Marie-Lena, or "Miffy", devoted herself to her greatest passion on a scientific level in media studies at the university of Potsdam. From analyzing horror games, to in-game photography projects (without a photo mode in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) and last but not least, her bachelor's thesis about dying in video games. There is hardly an area of gaming that she isn’t interested in. Aside from science, she has spent far too many hours in Dead by Daylight, loves to shred through all kinds of Souls-likes or chills on her island in Animal Crossing.
Outside of gaming, she watches horror films and spends time with her hamster or friends playing pen & paper games or other tabletops.
