For gamers looking for their next adventure, a free trial of Cyberpunk 2077 offers a taste of the vibrant and immersive world of Night City. Starting today, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S gamers will be able to immerse themselves in the dystopian universe of CD Projekt RED's action-packed RPG for five hours, completely free of charge.
As Easter approaches and the long weekend opens up more time for gaming, the Cyberpunk 2077 free trial offers an irresistible opportunity for players who have not yet played the game to immerse themselves in the futuristic, neon-lit world of Night City. Don't miss your chance to experience one of the most immersive RPGs of this generation.
Here Is Everything You Need To Know About The Trial:
The trial begins on Thursday, March 28 at 8 a.m. PDT (10 a.m. ET / 3 p.m. GMT / 4 p.m. CEST) and will run until Monday, April 1 at the same time, providing plenty of time for exploration and adventure.
Aspiring cyberpunks can participate in the trial exclusively on the latest generation of consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With a generous five hours of playtime, participants will have access to the entire base game. The trial requires downloading the full game, which is approximately 99.3GB on PlayStation 5 and 103GB on Xbox Series X|S.
The trial is a gift to all Xbox X and PlayStation 5 owners and does not require a subscription to access. However, there's a small exception in Germany, where PlayStation 5 users without a PlayStation®Plus subscription will have to pay a fee of €0.15 in accordance with SIE policy. While the free trial offers a glimpse into the vast expanse of Night City, it's important to note that certain elements are excluded. Players will not have access to the Phantom Liberty story DLC during the trial period, which will remain a separate, purchasable entity.
Wondering if your progress in the trial will carry over to the full game when you purchase? Fear not, because CD Projekt RED is committed to a seamless transition. Players will be able to continue their journey uninterrupted, picking up where they left off in the trial version.
