Have you ever wanted to play the worst game ever made? Well, it seems that there is one game developer who has decided that he would make the worst game ever.

Indie developer Carsen Rapp has made it his goal to create a game that can be dubbed one of the worst games ever. The game should be bad, not because it doesn't work or run, but because it'll be so bad that it's going to be fun again. So, has he succeeded?

Monster Sniper Season 3 is shaping up to be one interesting game. The developer has made it his goal to make it a "bad game" that is also extremely fun to play.

He's developed a 2D platformer in which players get to play as a rat with a rocket launcher. The thing that makes this game so weird is its controls, which are the furthest thing from intuitive. But that also makes it fun to overcome the challenge. Oh, and there is a dog you can pet as well. Big win.

Carsen Rapp is also getting advice and inspiration from his community. On TikTok, he has posted multiple videos outlining the process of making the game and also including ideas into it from the fans.

So, he's taking features players hate in games and incorporating them into his 2D platformer. Sounds pretty evil if you ask me, but the results are actually kind of cool and make the game look pretty fun, even if it seems frustrating.

For example, players suggested an "Only Up!" inspired level, but once you manage to reach the top without falling, the game ramps up the difficulty with an "Only Down" mode. What did Rapp think of for this? Well, it's the Only Up! Inspired level, but instead of hopping down normally, the map is flipped upside down. Just watch the TikTok yourself and you'll know how frustrating this is.

So, while Rapp is making a frustrating game, he doesn't want to make an unplayable game. In an interview with Eurogamer he explained that he is looking to create a fun game for players to enjoy.
