December 9, there is going to be an event called Red Bull League of Its Own which will take place in Berlin's Velodrom, one of the biggest event halls in the city. There, Worlds 2023 winner T1 will fight against top-teams from all across Europe, including German teams. But who the hell are they? Below we'll introduce one of them to you – NNO Old.
NNO Old is the older version of NNO Prime, obviously. No, but seriously. The team is put together by a bunch of twitch streamers and League of Legends influencers, well-known in Germany. On top of that, they are for sure more tenacious competition for T1 than the rest of the teams.
So, it's going to be fascinating to see them getting matched against T1, who won the Worlds tournament for the 4th time in 2023. And this is reflected among the fans: All tickets for the event were sold out within 3 hours. Next, we'll show you the individual players of the team.
Who are the members of NNO Old?
Frederik "NoWay" Hinteregge is one of the biggest twitch streamers and the biggest League of Legends streamer in Germany. He's got about 250 000 subscribers on YouTube, which is a lot for a non-english-speaking content creator in the field of League of Legends.
Travelling multiple times to Korea together with other German streamers and team members like "Agurin" and "Tolkin", he also peaked challenger in Korean solo queue in season 12.
He is NNO Old's mid laner and especially feared for his Xerath, often being called the "German Aimbot" due to his spell hitting accuracy. That's why it's going to be really exciting to see his performance against "Faker", the beast and most skilled player of League of Legends himself.
Niklot "Tolkin" Stüber is the top laner of NNO Old and similar to "NoWay" a big twitch streamer for League of Legends. He also got about 130 000 subscribers on YouTube. He is also known for his eye bags, but let's not talk about that.
Next in the roster, we will talk about Muhammed "Agurin" Kocak. 2023 "Agurin" peaked Challenger 1578 LP in Korea and reached Rank 1 which is a huge success for a European player. He is the jungler of the team, known for extreme early game farming and champions like Kha'Zix and Jarvan IV.
In the bot lane, we got Lukas "Karni" Steininger as support and Daniel "Broeki" Broekman as ADC. These are rather small streamers, compared to "Agurin" or "NoWay", however they still got their audience on Twitch and YouTube. Karni is known for champions like Renata Glasc or Rakan meanwhile Broeki also enjoys to play APC's like Ziggs next to the basic ADC roster with Ezreal and Ashe.
Let's stay tuned if NNO Old has a chance against T1 or gets completely demolished right from the start.
