Get ready everyone, because May 4th is going to be one hell of a Star Wars day for fans, with screenings of all movies, as well as some added extras for the hardcore fans.
The original Star Wars movies are coming back to theaters for international Star Wars day. Not only the original 3, but also the prequels will be making a comeback to the big screen, as was revealed by AMC theaters and Lucasfilm recently.
But that isn't where the fun for Star Wars lovers stops, because an exclusive look into The Acolyte will also be shown after the Phantom Menace re-release this year.

May 4th is international Star Wars day where geeks get to nerf out over one of the greatest movie franchises in history. This year, in celebration of The Phantom Menace turning 25 — god I'm old — there is also going to be a small sneak peek at the next Star Wars installment, The Acolyte.
This was also confirmed by AMC Theaters, who also wrote that "after the feature, fans will also get a special first look at Star Wars: The Acolyte series coming to Disney+ June 2024."
Fans can already purchase tickets, which will go on sale Friday, March 22 at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET.
There are going to be whole days dedicated to Star Wars, with all nine Skywalker Saga films hitting select theaters as well, meaning true fans will also be able to watch every single movie in one day. However, the Acolyte special screening is only part of The Phantom Menace screenings.
So, what are you waiting for, get out there and make sure to secure your tickets if you want to spend your Star Wars day rewatching the classics on the big screen. May the 4th be with you.
