The release of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV made for huge waves in the industry. But it isn't even finished yet: there's a surprise bonus episode waiting in April.
Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV has been at the forefront of the internet's minds for a few days at this point (don't know where to watch it? Here you go). Countless videos have been made, analyzing the situation and condemning Dan Schneider, but the whole ordeal is far from over.
Variety reported it first: there's a bonus episode waiting, featuring even more stories from set.
Bonus Episode For Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV Coming In April
On April 7, a surprise bonus episode of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV will come to HBO Max and feature even more interviews. Drake Bell from "Drake & Josh", Giovonnie Samuels and Bryan Hearne from "All That" as well as Hearne's mother, Tracey Brown, will have room to tell their stories.
Joining them will be Shane Lyons, also from "All That." Interviewing them will be Soledad O'Brien "for an important discussion about the industry, then and now."
Talking about heavy issues is more important than ever and speaking up is not only an important, but also brave step for all people involved.
The implications of what's coming to light right now could fundamentally shape the future of the industry – if the horrible stories being shared are treated as cautionary tales to prevent the industry going down that path for even a second longer, that is.
The bonus episode airs on April 7 on HBO Max.
