The Best Warzone 2 KV Broadside Loadout | A Viable Shotgun

In Season 2 of Warzone 2 a new shotgun was released, and unlike all the other shotguns in Warzone 2, it's viable. Here's the best attachment setup for the KV Broadside.

Warzone 2 is much harsher on shotgun-users than its predecessor. In Season 1, the best available weapon in this class was probably the Expedite 12, and even that was hard to use effectively. Thankfully, we do now have a slightly more viable option. The KV Broadside is the newest shotgun in Warzone 2, and it's definitely the best shotgun (it's probably too good in fact, and we expect a nerf soon).

The KV is better than the other shotguns in Warzone 2 because it has a decent fire rate, solid range, and access to large-capacity mags. In this article you can find out how to unlock the KV Broadside, as well as our attachment recommendations.

How To Unlock The KV Broadside In Warzone 2

To unlock the KV Broadside you need to use at least 15 Battle Pass tokens to unlock sector B4. This is a free reward, so it doesn't matter whether you have the premium Battle Pass or not.

Here is the route you need to take in the Battle Pass:

As you can see, B4 will also unlock a double weapon XP token, which you'll want for in between double XP events.

If it's taking you a long time to unlock new Battle Pass tokens, you can always just buy them for 150CP each.

With our KV Broadside loadout we want to increase our range as much as we can with the barrel, increase the magazine capacity to 25 (essential for quads) and improve the fire-rate. These attachments fulfill the requirements best, but if you find the weapon a little slow then drop the bolt for a laser.

Warzone 2.0 KV Broadside Loadout: Secondary Weapon, Perks & Equipment

Secondary Weapon: TAQ-56

The TAQ-56 wasn't nerfed that badly in Season 2, and most players have always found it to be a very comfortable option. The above build is fantastic for long-range, and you can make it even better with the tunings suggested in the guide below.

Perks (Basic, Bonus & Ultimate)

Our favorite choice right now:

Basic Perks

Bomb Squad / Tracker

Bonus PerkResupply
Ultimate Perk

High Alert

Hooray! We can choose our own perks again. They did remove Birdseye sadly, but there are still some great options to choose from.

Bomb Squad is going to be useful pretty much every single match, but Tracker is a bit more situational. We still think Tracker is worth taking though, because when you can use it, it comes up clutch.

For our Bonus Perk we chose Resupply to keep the Flash Grenades coming, and for our Ultimate we went with High Alert. This perk is especially useful while footstep audio is still so low.

Equipment (Lethal & Tactical)

Our favorite combo:

LethalSemtex

Tactical

Flash Grenade

The recent Season 2 patch introduced a handful of much needed nerfs, but Flashes are still absurdly strong. With these puppies you can blind a whole squad and make outplays like it's 2020. Semtex is less powerful nowadays, but we still think it's a fairly good option for all players, and it's easy to use effectively.

That's about it for the KV Broadside. If you're looking for something a little more reliable, try one of the best battle rifles in Warzone 2.0.

We're still not sure if weapons like this will transfer over to the unexpected 2023 CoD:
