Marvel Studios gears up for another mediocre year 2024 so far. Although Marvel has some fantastic movies and shows that will keep fans thrilled throughout the year, the majority looks rather lackluster. 2023 was an especially rough year for movies, due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, but so far 2024 doesn't look that much better in terms of quality! Although there are some, gems hidden among the rabble!
We're talking about the return of favorite characters in “X-Men '97” and the funny antics of “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

Echo

Marvel's miniseries “Echo” released on January 10, 2024, with all five episodes dropping simultaneously on both Disney+ and Hulu. The series follows the character Maya Lopez, also known as Echo, who is a deaf Native American superhero with photographic reflexes. Echo is expected to make her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and was previously introduced in the Disney+ series “Hawkeye.”

It is about Madame Web, a mutant with special powers who, in conjunction with spiders, can see the future of superheroes. The story is about how Madame Web discovers secrets from her past and has to protect three young women from a dangerous enemy.
With Dakota Johnson in the role of Madame Web, the movie will feature her psychic abilities and her enemy, Ezekiel Sims.
Deadpool & Wolverine

After several delays due to Hollywood's actors' strike, Ryan Reynolds will finally come back to the big screen as Deadpool in 2024.
The storyline is still a big mystery among fans, but we know that the movie will probably revolve around Deadpool's entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as it was teased before.
Although Hugh Jackman had retired from the role of Wolverine after “Logan” (2017), his friend Ryan Reynolds was able to persuade him to return. This is Deadpool's first appearance in a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the takeover of Fox by Disney in 2019.

She finds herself powerless and joins forces with her former enemy's son, Billy Kaplan.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year (Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man)

Marvel fans just can't get enough of Spider-Man. And luckily, 2024 is going to give us something special. Spider-Man Freshman year (or Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man) will be part of phase five in Marvel's cinematic universe.
The upcoming animated series explores the early days of Peter Parker's superhero career. It is set in the very beginning, where Peter was preparing for his High School orientation. The plot includes the iconic moment of Peter Parker getting his superpowers after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider. The series will go back to the roots of basic Spider-Man stories. A very anticipated installment, since we never got to see the MCU Spider-Man actually gaining his powers.
Venom 3

Tom Hardy will finally come back to the Marvel screens in Venom 3. The threequel is set to release on November 8, after being belayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
We don't know too much about the plot yet, and marvel hasn't released any trailers yet. But we do think that Venom 3 might tie into the events of Spider-Man: No way home, since it appeared in the end credits.
