Earlier this year the best movie ever made was released and it is called Morbius. It was so good that it was even put into theatres again after it had already left the big screen. Now it's getting a third awakening on Netflix.
Morbius is a phenomena like no other. Maybe grown teenagers going to see the Minions in suits can top this, but other than that not much has left people with more questions than the odd obsession of the internet with this single movie, but let's be honest, it's the greatest movie ever made... even if I haven't seen it, I just know.
Well, after having received some pretty awful ratings, becoming the butt of every joke on the internet which earned the film the only popularity it ever even got, Morbius has made it onto streaming sites and oddly enough a third coming of Morbius is on the horizon.
Morbius Climbs Netflix' Streaming Charts
On Netflix viewers are able to see what is currently popular. Whether it's Stranger Things, Heartstopper or Squid Game, anything can trend there and well it seems like Morbius is climbing and heading for the number one spot on Netflix US.
While the film was absolutely bombed by critics and has pretty meagre box office numbers, it seems that Morbius just won't go away... he is a vampire after all so I guess it kind of makes sense if you think about it. But now that this film is on Netflix and people can watch it, it seems like it's picking up steam once more.

It's also important to note that while the film had a 15% score with critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the audience score sat at 71%. Not sure though if it's due to the disillusioned meme-ers who won't let the 'Morbius is the greatest movie ever made' meme die, or if some people actually truly enjoyed this film.
One thing is for sure though, with a score like that Morbius still isn't getting any closer to Arcane and the scores the show managed to rake in on Rotten Tomatoes. Morbius, you better work a little harder, eh?
But with the film being on Netflix, we can tell that more people are watching it, especially since it's reaching more people through the streaming website who might not have gone to see it in theatres. Well... let's see what the scores say in a few weeks then, eh?
