FIFA 22 Serie A TOTS Is Live – With Leao, Vlahovic And Hernández

The season is over: in the Champions League, we've seen high class football and in FIFA 22, we have the Team of the Season – probably the second-biggest event of the year after the TOTY in January.

We're already incredibly hyped for the TOTS, as you can see from the beautiful hub article that our dear Lukas Scherbaum poured his blood, sweat, and tears into (Editor: quite literally). The wait is over in Italy: the Serie A Team of the Season is live in FIFA 22!

FIFA 22 Serie A TOTS: All Players

As usual, there were already a few leaks over the past days, so the players were mostly already known. The ratings are official now, we are happy about badass defenders and an outstanding Rafael Leao.

FIFA 22 TOTS Serie A Predictions

The 2021/22 season of the Serie A is a lot of fun – we get a lot of high-scoring games, the championship is far from decided right now and Inter as well as Milan are finally back on top. So, the FIFA 22 Serie A Team of the Season just has to be as awesome as the league in real life...

Here it is, our prediction for the Serie A TOTS in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team!

Serie A TOTS Prediction – Goalkeeper

For goalkeepers, we're going with Mike Maignan from AC Milan. After Gianluigi Donnarumma left Italy for Paris Saint-Germain in summer, the Frenchman had to fill the hole in the Rossoneri's goal and did so with flying colors. In the meantime, he has become the undisputed number one goalkeeper and, except for a few weeks due to injury, has literally always played. Clearly our first choice as TOTS goalkeeper, no doubt about that!

Serie A TOTS Prediction – Defenders

Is Theo Hernández the best left-back in the world? Hard to say, but at least in Serie A, no one can get past the French international. A Theo Hernández TOTS card would be amazing, quite expensive and, above all, would find its place in a lot of different Weekend League OP squads.

The defensive back three is completed by Kalidou Koulibaly and Milan Skriniar. While Koulibaly has been a monster in the Serie A for years, Skriniar is establishing himself as a signature signing for Inter, especially during this season.

Serie A TOTS Prediction – Midfielders

Domenico Berardi ss the top scorer in Serie Aand with that, he has definitely earned his spot in the Team of the Season. Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is also having an outstanding season, and his goal contributions as a central midfielder are more than impressive. Without the 27-year-old Serbian, Lazio would have been much worse.

For a transfer fee of about 12 million pounds, Mario Pašalić moved from Chelsea FC to Atalanta Bergamo a couple of years back and has really been one of their best players this season. Our midfield prediction for the Serie A Team of the Season is completed by Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who just seems to really enjoy playing in Italy.

Serie A TOTS Prediction – Attackers

When it comes to which attackers will be featured in the FIFA 22 Serie A TOTS, the choice was relatively easy for us: Ciro Immobile (27 goals) and Dusan Vlahovic (24 goals) have scored the most goals so far and are therefore part of our Team of the Season. Especially Vlahovic is the shooting star of the current season in Italy and has already received an extremely strong card for FUT during the Future Stars Promo.

In addition, we can well imagine that EA Sports will give either Lautaro Martínez or Edin Dzeko a spot in the Team of the Season. Both strikers are not playing a bad season for Inter Milan either, and we would not complain about them being featured...

Serie A TOTS Prediction – Bench

For Serie A, EA Sports really has the chance to bring some new faces into the Team of the Season. We also wanted to take advantage of this opportunity and chose the players you see above. All of them are performing pretty well this year, but none of them are especially outstanding. Of course, the bench is always incredibly hard to get right, so don't be too harsh with our prediction...

We're super hyped about the remaining games in Italy and are looking forward to the Serie A TOTS as well – this is what the team could look like in-game:

Well, we certainly hope that EA does EA things and gives all of these players a hefty upgrade. Especially Milinkovic-Savic, Pašalić and Çalhanoğlu urgently need more pace, so they will be able to dominate the midfield meta of FIFA 22 properly...
