FIFA 22: TOTW Series Is Finished

If you have been playing FIFA Ultimate Team for a while, you already know the deal. Every Wednesday, EA SPORTS releases the next Team of the Week. The TOTW presents players who have performed particularly well in the past week.

You get the In-Forms from packs and picks, so think carefully when you open your well earned packs. Do you want to have the chance to get a current TOTW player, or rather wait until next week?

Either way, the Team of the Week is popular in FIFA - with the Featured TOTW cards, new momentum comes into this year's FUT-grind. Thanks to boosts, Informs can become even better. But right now they are very disappointing.

FIFA 22: Team of the Week is finished

The TOTW 36, which can be read below, was the last Team of the Week in FIFA 22. EA announced with the release of TOTW 36 that this will be the final TOTW in FIFA. The reason is obvious. All the top leagues have finished, all the champions have been crowned, all the relegations have been decided. If no more top leagues are playing, no more good TOTW will be released. Otherwise, as in recent years, only in-forms would have come from the Japanese league, and, with all due respect, nobody wants that. That's why EA is ending the TOTW series and concentrating on TOTS.

TOTW 36 with Heung-Min Son, Andrew Robertson and Ilkay Gündogan - Now Live In Ultimate Team

All European top leagues are now going into their well-deserved summer break. This also means that Team of the Week 36 will be the last good TOTW for a while. Exceptions are the Nations League matches, but in the next few weeks the in-forms will look rather meagre. Ilkay Gündogan lead Manchester City to the championship by scoring twice to turn around a 2-0 deficit against Aston Villa. Heung-Min Son lead Tottenham into the Champions League and even snatched the Golden Boot in the process, gg.

TOTW Team 35 With Hernandez, De Bruyne And Ben Yedder – Now In Ultimate Team

The Team of the Week didn't really blow us away in the last few weeks... but did it ever really do that in FIFA 22? Well, this time the featured players actually look quite decent. Theo Hernández is the best left-back in Serie A, at least until TOTS. Kevin De Bruyne certainly feels amazing to play with or can at least be used as SBC fodder. Wissam Ben Yedder, on the other hand, will drive any opponent nuts.

This bunch is slightly better than the last one, but there still isn't much to be tooooo excited about. Aurelien Tchouameni and Raheem Sterling are nice though. Gakpo getting a new card just after his TOTS card is hilarious though. Good one, EA...

TOTW Team 33 With Bonucci, Mertens And Richarlison – Release: May 04, 2022

After looking at the TOTW, we are extremely disappointed (again) and have absolutely no idea what to write about it. Seems to us like EA Sports doesn't want to distract from the Team of the Season at all – TOTW wouldn't do it anyway, but whatever. Well, if you can be happy about one player this week, it's probably Dries Mertens.

TOTW Team 32 With Robertson, Jesus And Calhanoglu – Release: April 27, 2022

Quite a motley bunch. We miss a real superstar. But Andy Robertson for defense would be nice. Gabriel Jesus can be fun to play, too and if you get a free kick in a good position you can always rely on Hakan Calhanoglu.

TOTW Team 31 With Ronaldo, Kimmich And Haaland – Release: April 20, 2022

To be fair, everyone that actually follows the Premier League knew it: After his hat trick over the weekend, Cristiano Ronaldo just HAD to be part of TOTW 31. And surprise surprise, of course he made it into the team. In addition to the Portuguese, the next generation of world-class strikers is also represented – Erling Haaland helped Dortmund completely demolish VfL Wolfsburg. Oh, by the way, there is also Joshua Kimmich... one of the better TOTWs overall!

TOTW Team 30 With Mbappe, Immobile And De Ligt – Release: April 13, 2022

Well, we already struggled quite a bit in our TOTW 30 Prediction... Will Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi or Neymar Jr. be in the Team of the Week? We decided for Messi (lol, noobs), but EA Sport has given the spot to Mbappé instead. Besides him, Nicolo Barella, a strong central midfielder, made it into the squad. Otherwise, the TOTW doesn't offer many exciting players once again...

TOTW Team 29 With Neymar, Sterling And Laimer – Release: April 6, 2022

Finally, after the international break, it was back to normal league football and Paris Saint-Germain performed really great! But we didn't see Messi or Mbappé, instead it was Neymar's turn. Few have bet on it. Raheem Sterling became the pace god and Konrad Laimer stood for stable cleaning up in front of the defense.

TOTW Team 28 With Bale, Diaz and Di Maria – Release: March 30, 2022

National team time! It was leak time too... No Leo Messi – but Angel Di Maria. How funny is Gareth Bale, who really doesn't do anything for Real anymore and always performs for Wales? Luis Diaz is letting his headliners fly (link above). EA is trolling and puts Will Smith in hahahahahaha.

TOTW Team 27 With Son, Coman, Aubameyang And Ben Yedder – Release: March 23, 2022

El Clasico went Barca-Style all the way. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored two goals. Heung-min Son too. Wissam Ben Yedder Inform gonna be awesome and Andrew Robertson is just nice at the back. One of the better TOTWs.

TOTW Team 26 With Cristiano Ronaldo And Ferran Torres – Release March 16, 2022

We had to wait until TOTW 26, now he's here: Cristiano Ronaldo gets his well-deserved first Inform in FIFA 22 with his hat-trick against Tottenham. Dani Parejo will be found in teams that don't like to run at all – Ferran Torres is a nice super sub.

TOTW Team 25 With Kevin De Bruyne And Theo Hernández – Release March 09, 2022

The Team of the Week is not that bad this time. Kevin De Bruyne has earned his spot during the Manchester Derby. Theo Hernández continues to dominate the left-back meta. Bukayo Saka is a decent addition to any PL team.

TOTW Team 24 with Kylian Mbappe And Ousmane Dembele – Release March 02, 2022

A new Team of the Week is like a new life... well, hold on, hold on. First, EA managed to not leak the TOTW this time. GG. And second, it is kinda nice. Kylian Mbappé gets the 99 pace, as does Moussa Diaby. And Ousmane Dembélé will also be very popular. Gather your pack luck!

TOTW Team 23 with Robert Lewandowski and Jadon Sancho – Release: February 23, 2022

Heeeeeey, EA, what was going on? EA leaked the players. In the Dreamsquad you could find the TOTW players in advance. Ouch, but it happens, bros. Sancho gets his first OTW upgrade. In February. Boy, oh boy... totally misinvested. Well. Aubameyang scores three times for Barca and deserves it. 90 pace, yisssss.

TOTW Team 22 with Raheem Sterling and Marco Reus – Release: February 16, 2022

Oh well, TOTW... you haven't been worth it in FIFA 22 for a while now. Raheem Sterling and Nabil Fekir could at least be decent. But the real highlight is Coutinho this week, who just really likes to play in the Premier League it seems!

TOTW Team 21 with Kalidou Koulibaly and Manuel Neuer – Release: February 9, 2022

Poor TOTW... after the TOTY it's just boring, smh. Kalidou Koulibaly and Manuel Neuer would be tasty. Otherwise no real highlights. Well, Taliscas OTW rose up to 87 and Koulibalys Headliner reached the 90 so there's that.

TOTW Team 20 with Sadio Mane and Angel Di Maria – Release: February 2, 2022

It's time for international games and you can see this in the Team of the Week as well. Really terrible! Well, we don't want to be like that, because we'd be really happy about Sadio Mané or Ángel Di María, ngl.

TOTW Team 19 with Joshua Kimmich und Moussa Diaby – Release: January 26, 2022

Yip... after TOTY it's really hard to set up new bangers. EA consistently ignores the Africa Cup, but brings us a real rocket for the wings with Moussa Diaby. You can also use Joshua Kimmich, but then it gets quite thin again... Although there would still be room for a Marco Verratti in our squad. It's not like that.

TOTW Team 18 with Ben Yedder and Bruno Fernandes – Release: January 19, 2022

Let's put it this way: We're waiting for the Team of the Year, right? Whoever goes for a player from here is not quite lost – our opinion. Ben Yedder is of course very nice up front. We'd also take Immobile and Bruno Fernandes if we had to. You can use Robertson, but you don't have to. Tl;dr: TOTY, please save us!

TOTW Team 17 with Hernandez and Tchouameni – Release: January 12, 2022

Yisssss, another Inform for Aurélien Tchouaméni. His first one was among the most popular FUT cards in 2021. Still going strong, my boy. Can't say anything against Theo Hernández, too. And Jude Bellingham will also be great. Bundesliga is back and TOTW nice again. That's something!

TOTW Team 16 with Kanté and Foden – Release: January 5, 2022

Shall we do a great TOTW? No better not, thought EA. CR7 plays golf or what? We don't want to lie, there is still room for a N'Golo Kanté in our FUT squad, but what else? Phil Foden is nice, no daoubt, Angel Correa maybe... But that's it! Disappointing!

TOTW Team 15 with Benzema and Hakimi – Release: December 29, 2021

Karim Benzema gets a nice 91 – tasty! Romelu Lukaku should be a weapon as striker, too. Inform Hakimi ist the new shining star as RB. Use Visca as super sub!

TOTW Team 14 With Lewandowski and Courtois – Release: December 22, 2021

With Robert Lewandowski and Dayot Upamecano there are two Bayern professionals in the TOTW 14. Martinelli is good as a super sub, De Bruyne is godlike as CAM.

TOTW Team 13 with Sterling and Courtois – Release: December 15, 2021

Thibaut Courtois a monster between the posts. Raheem Sterling will pace down the wings. Atal looks quite decent as usual. Dušan Vlahović scores as he wishes. Nicolo Barella almost in the Gullit/Goretzka club.

TOTW Team 12 with Coman and Immobile – Release: December 8, 2021

Igor Akinfeev simply a legend. Kingsley Coman will make your wings better. Bernardo Silva would also be tasty. The upgrade for Patrik Schick should be higher. Martin Terrier makes a nice sub.

TOTW Team 11 With van Dijk and Saka – Release: December 1, 2021

What a centre back beast van Dijk is. He will make your team better, no doubt. There are not much more highlights besides him. Featured Saka is nice to have. Laborde jumps from 80 to 85. Diaby can be a Super Sub.

TOTW Team 10 With Messi and Kanté – Release: November 24, 2021

Sheeeesh. Lionel Messi scores and gets his inform straight away. But EA has probably waited long enough to release this card. N’Golo Kanté sets new standards in the midfield. Toni Kroos comes as a passing monster and Berghuis is really flexible. Just because of Messi and Kanté one of the better TOTWs.

TOTW Team 9 With Mbappé and Sarr – Release: November 17, 2021

Kylian Mbappé will destroy defensive lines – no question about it. Ismaila Sarr will also be nice on the wing. Joakim Maehle's stats are useful – but 72 Def is just bad. Xherdan Shaqiri ensures with his nomination for an upgrade of his OTW card. The "Best of TOTW" this year (as of now) will not be particularly great.

TOTW Team 8 With Neymar and Goretzka – Release: November 10, 2021

Like we expected, Neymar is the star of TOTW 8. If you're lucky enough and get him, get ready to take off your pants and shake that booty. Overall TOTW 8 is way better than TOTW 7.

TOTW Team 7 With Vinicius Jr. and Marquinhos – Release: November 3, 2021

Well, so Cristiano Ronaldo is playing golf or what? He is not in TOTW 7 and there are few other highlights. Vinicius Jr. is of course nice to have and will be good. Marquinhos and Yannick Carrasco are also useful. Otherwise, there are – again – no real highlights...

TOTW Team 6 With Salah and Upamecano – Release: October 27, 2021

TOTW 6 was rather mediocre. Mohamed Salah really earned his TOTW place, Dayot Upamecano is also nice to have. But there wasn't much else going on. Youcef Atal can be used as a super sub.

TOTW Team 5 With Gnabry and Firmino – Release: October 20, 2021

Well, Bayern Munich performed tremendiously, no doubt. They were up by five goals in first half against Leverkusen. Serge Gnabry is one of the best players in Team 5. Bobby Firmino also delivered a nice performance with his three goals against Watford. Tanguy Ndombele got 90 Dribbling – not bad.

TOTW Team 4 With Depay and Mané – Release: October 13, 2021

Sadio Mané is probably the most wanted star in this team. But Hirving Lozano is also very useful thanks to 94 pace. The wingbacks also have a new superstar for FUT. Theo Hernández is absolutely insane. Whoever you pull from this team - we wish you all the best and lots of pack luck.

FIFA 22: TOTW Team 3 with Iniesta and Son – Release: October 6, 2021

Andrés Iniesta - if that name doesn't make your heart want to sing, you probably don't have one. Or you're a Real Madrid fan. Even though he's not really useful in FUT... we still want him. Because he is a legend and we love him. The star of the show is obviously Heung-min Son though: 89 pace, 88 shot, 87 dribble. Jonathan David comes in as a featured TOTW, he is already strong and could get even better.

FIFA 22: TOTW Team 2 with Benzema and Jesus – Release: September 29, 2021

Felipe Anderson is the next featured TOTW card. It could be even better, but it's already good to go at 84. Check out the Benz and Lord Jesus - bloody lovely. Zakaria is really solid with strong 86 pace. Victor Oshimen could be one of the best strikers, his pace in combination with the shot values: This TOTW will be killer.

FIFA 22: TOTW Team 1 with Salah and Kimmich – Release: September 22, 2021

Salah is an absolute banger, there's no other way to put it. 91 pace, 89 shooting and 91 dribbling are impressive. And even Kimmich already has 90 OVR, a really strong DM. But that's not all, folks. Vinícius has not only 5 star skills, but also 83 OVR with 96 pace and 89 dribbling! With Toney, we even got the first featured TOTW card. Don't forget Sarr and Díaz, who are also good players for starting teams.
