In Armored Core 6, you can heal yourself mid-mission for the first time in the series. Here’s everything you need to know about that, including how you upgrade your healing.
Armored Core 6 is a high-octane action game, where you are constantly bombarded by attacks and try to avoid danger. But you’ll get some knocks here and there, that can’t be avoided in a FromSoftware game.
Thankfully, you can heal yourself during missions, which is actually a new feature in the series. Here’s everything you need to know about healing in Armored Core 6.
Armored Core 6: How To Heal
At the start of every mission, you get three repair kits, which allow you to heal a certain amount of AP (your health points). To do this, just press up on the D-pad and you will recover AP.
You only get three charges, and they don’t seem to be replenishable in any way. Still, this is a nice change from previous games and allows you to recover if things go sideways, especially in tougher boss battles.
How To Upgrade Repair Kits
With your standard repair kit, you recover a fair bit of health. But while you progress through the game and get better parts for your AC, you’ll need stronger healing. And the game offers you a way to upgrade your repair kits for just that purpose. Neat
You can upgrade your repair kits in the OS Tuning menu under “Damage Control”. You can do this up to four times throughout the game, with each upgrade offering a higher increase in effectiveness.
