The Assassin's Creed Jade beta was leaked online, and fans have been able to download the game and play. We now know all the locations where AC: Jade will take place, and we've seen a ton of gameplay. Let's take a look.
We should clarify here, we're talking about Assassin's Creed Jade, which is the upcoming mobile game. The next big console release is Assassin's Creed Infinite. But don't be disappointed; AC Jade is a mobile game, but it's far more complex than you might be imagining (just check out the character create).
This full game is expected to be released in 2023, possibly even 2024. But, sadly, someone leaked the beta files and made them available to download for free. So we already know a ton about Assassin's Creed Jade...
Assassin's Creed Jade Beta Leaked Online
The Assassin's Creed Jade beta files leaked online a few hours ago, and thousands of fans have been downloading the game and playing for free. For obvious legal reasons, we aren't going to share the files with you or encourage you to download the AC Jade beta yourself. Although, we can share with you all the gameplay details we've been learning since the beta become available.
But first things first, you've got to see how impressive this game looks, check out this clip:
As you can see, the game is set in feudal China, and it looks remarkably similar to other Assassin's Creed games. But you probably also noticed a few changes. The combat is less focused on countering and is now more simplified (button mashing light and heavy attack seems to work just fine), and the parkour has been streamlined. These are all good changes for a mobile version of Assassin's Creed.
We don't want to spoil too much for you, but we did want to share the in-game footage, because that is very impressive for mobile. What did you think? Persuaded to get Jade when it comes out? Or are you saving space on your phone for Warzone Mobile?
You can buy the latest Assassin's Creed here if you want to refamiliarize yourself with the series.
It might be a mobile game, but we still expect it to look better than the latest Pokémon...
