A new action RPG is taking the stage with a visual style similar to Code Vein and the NieR franchise! Meet AI Limit, a Souls-like game that has been in the making for four years!
AI Limit is a sci-fi Souls-like game created by Sense Games. It's been in development for more than four years, and the publisher, CE-Asia, has just released a new gameplay trailer, giving us a glimpse of the game's stunning visuals that share a lot of similarities with Code Vein and NieR. The anticipated release is set for 2024.
However, there's a bit of a drawback to the announcement. The publisher mentioned that they are shifting their focus away from the previously announced PlayStation 4 version and are now putting more effort into the PC and PlayStation 5 versions.
AI Limit was first announced for PS4 in 2019 as part of the second wave of games from the PlayStation China Hero Project, a program supporting Chinese developers entering the global market.
AI Limit: An Anime Sci-Fi Soulslike In The Making
The game is set in a distant, post-apocalyptic world where humanity is on the edge of extinction due to an ecological disaster, war, and a substance corroding the planet. You play as Arrisa, a new life form known as Bladers by those who are aware of you.
As Arrisa you have a wide variety of weapons at your disposal, allowing you to perform flashy combos while traversing the world filled with bizarre entities and enemies. Additionally, you can use magical attacks with your left mechanical hand.
