Cyberpunk 2077 is finally getting the DLC we've all been waiting for. Here's what we know about it.
Cyberpunk is like plastic surgery: Unrecognizable, and...to some... more beautiful than ever. In 2020, at launch, the game was universally hated, and even got the devs sued by their own government (which is still hilarious to me). Since then, the tides have turned, with update after update, patch after patch, changing the game to what fans had originally envisioned. Now, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting one more update that fans have been asking for since its launch.
Cyberpunk Finally Gets DLC
Fans have been dying for Cyberpunk to release some DLC, after original plans included expansions anyway. Since the game was so terrible, though, DLC plans were put on indefinite hold. Now, the devs have confirmed that the much requested DLC is back, and coming soon enough:
We are working on stuff for you. Like, I'm literally daily reviewing quests, talking to people about stuff, so it is happening. I cannot tell you anything about our future plans, but I can assure you that we are working on expansions - we're working on stuff for you guys.
Wow. A playable game, and DLC. Cyberpunk is really trying to do what every other AAA game does out the box. Hate aside, though, the next-gen version of Cyberpunk really is an entirely different version than the base game, and it's 100% worth checking out.
