Cyberpunk 2077 is finally making its way to the PS4, and a release date has been leaked, as well as new artwork.
Update, January 31, 2022:
Granted, it's just a rumor, but we have reason to believe that the Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 release has just been leaked. More specifically, it was leaked by the Twitter account PlayStation Game Size. Why is that relevant? Well, first, to give credit where credit is due, and, second of all, because they routinely predict things accurately, such as game sizes and release dates. This time, the latter was leaked, and it suggests that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on the PS5 in mid-February - early-March. Yup, that's very, very soon.

There's been no word from CDPR as of yet, but if the release date is to be true, we can expect to hear from them soon. Also, friendly reminder: If you already own Cyberpunk for the PS4, you can upgrade to the PS5 version for free.
In case you're wondering, yes Cyberpunk is now finally a playable game, after suffering a horrendous release. The game's been patched up over and over again, and is now... good. Still, it's worth waiting for the PS5 release, if you haven't played the game yet, since it will undoubtedly be a much improved version.
If you're impatient, you can play the free Cyberbang 2069 in the meantime. I'll just... I'll just leave it at that.

So first things, first, let's clear an important question:
Do I need to buy Cyberpunk 2077 again for PS5, if I already bought it for PS4?
No. If you already bought the game for last-gen, you get a free next gen upgrade. This goes for both the Xbox and the PlayStation. More precisely, here is what CDPR said about this on Twitter:
Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 & Xbox Series X Next Gen Update Release Date
So CDPR publically released a roadmap that includes all the patches they promise to make the game work on the last-gen systems. Luckily for all you fancy next-gen system owners, this roadmap has the answer you're looking for: The Cyberpunk 2077 Next Gen Update for PS5 & Xbox Series will release in the second half of 2021.
But, consider this: On this roadmap, patch 1.2 is about halfway through. Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2 is actually releasing in February 2021 – which is definitely not the halfway point of the year. Yup, definitely a 'what the hell' moment. So take the accuracy of the time-measurements with about 10 pinches of salt. Quite possibly whatever that marker means on the timeline could be October. It could be June... nobody knows.
