With the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion Phantom Liberty, we get introduced to a brand-new skill tree called Relic. If you're wondering how to unlock the new skills, you'll find everything you need to know in this guide!
CD Projekt RED put a lot of work into Cyberpunk 2077 in the last few years for it to finally become the game it should have been from the very beginning. With update 2.0 and finally the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion, they reached a point where the game feels whole and how it should be.
Update 2.0 already included a lot of new features, but Phantom Liberty stepped things up a notch and added even more features like map-activities, a new Relic-System, a complete new story-line which will affect the ending, and more.
Talking about the Relic-System, how does the new system work, and how do you get points to unlock the new skills? Below you'll find all the answers!
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: Get Relic Perk Points
Once you reach the necessary story progression in the base game, you'll be granted access to the Phantom Liberty expansion – Dogtown. This is a new district in Night City, hidden behind thick and high walls.
There you'll meet Solomon Reed and the Netrunner Songbird from the New United States of America (NUSA). Songbird will grant you access to the Relic skill tree, as this is a Militech technology concealed within the Arasaka Relic in V's head.
You have two different methods to acquire the necessary Perk Points, to unlock a new Relic skill:
- Follow the main plot, and you'll get access to additional three Relic Perk Points.
- Search for yellow Militech Data Terminals and approach it to obtain a Relic Point
The Militech Terminals are scattered throughout Dogtown and are marked as a white R on the map, similar to the Tarot Cards you start seeing in Act 2.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: All Militech Operational Data Terminal Locations
There are nine Militech Terminals in total to discover in Dogtown. With them mostly being accompanied by a Fast Travel Terminal, there shouldn't be any problem to discover them.
Here are all the locations of the Fast Travel and Militech Terminals:
- Stadium Fast Travel Terminal – EBM Petrochem Stadium Terminal
- Golden Pacific Fast Travel Terminal – Golden Pacific Terminal, Heavy Hearts Terminal and Overpass Data Terminal
- Terra Cognita Fast Travel Terminal – Terra Cognita Terminal
- Kress Street Fast Travel Terminal – Kress Street Terminal and Longshore Stacks Terminal
- Luxor High Wellness Spa Fast Travel Terminal – Luxor High Wellness Spa Terminal and Slider’s Hideout Terminal
If you get lost, just follow the white R on the mini-map, and you should be able to find it!
