In this Diablo 4 Druid guide, we'll show you the best Skills, Aspects and Boons to turn this class into an unstoppable power house.
I love the Druid. It’s not very high up in our Diablo 4 classes tier list, but that’s mainly because I didn’t make the list. It’s a super fun class and I’ll show you how to become an unstoppable tank with it.

Diablo 4 Druid Guide
I’ll show you my build, which has made me basically not take any damage and completely rinse every enemy in the game by the time I was at around Level 45. First I’ll show you my skillset, then the Aspects I use and finally my recommendation for Boons.

Best Druid Skills
I run a mixture between transformation and magic skills. The transformation skills were doo-doo in the beta, but the full release of Diablo 4 sees them buffed by quite a bit and they’re awesome.
Diablo 4 Transmog: How To Use The Wardrobe To Change Your Appearance
Here are my six active skills plus related passives:
- Basic Skill: Wind Shear
- Passives: Enhanced Wind Shear, Wild Wind Shear
- Basic Skill: Claw
- Passives: Enhanced Claw, Fierce Claw
- Core Skill: Lightning Storm
- Passives: Enhanced Lightning Storm, Primal Lightning Storm
- Core Skill: Pulverize
- Passives: Enhanced Pulverize, Raging Pulverize
- Core Passives: Heart of the Wild, Abundance, Predatory Instinct, Digitigrade Gait
- Companion Skill: Wolves
- Passives: Enhanced Wolf Pack, Brutal Wolf Pack
- Companion Passive: Call of the Wind
- Wrath Passives: Elemental Exposure, Charged Athmosphere, Electric Shock
- Ultimate Skill: Lacerate (with both available Passives)
- Ultimate Passives: Defiance, Quick Shift
- Key Passive: Perfect Storm
This skillset offers a good mix between offense and defense. You can generate spirit with the Basic skills and deal crazy damage with the Core skills, both in melee and at long rage. To be honest, I’m not a fan of the ultimates, but this one at least does some decent damage.
The star of the show is Pulverize. With Enhanced Pulverize, your attack becomes Overpowered, which deals ridiculous damage. This resets every 12 seconds, which is really not bad for a cooldown.
And of course you need your doggos with you. The wolf companions are not just good at pulling aggro, their active ability does mad damage. The synergy with poison damage is also really nice to have here.
Best Druid Aspects
First: I have some crazy Aspects. Here's the list of everything I'm rocking in my gear, the highlighted Aspects are the strongest in my opinion:
- Deal 20% increased damage while you have a Barrier active.
- Damaging an Elite enemy grants you a Barrier absorbing up to 1,800 damage for 10 seconds. This effect can only happen once very 30 seconds.
- Damaging a Poisoned enemy with a Werebear Skill will instantly deal 135% of the Poisoning damage and consume the Poisoning.
- Attacking enemies with a Basic Skill increases the damage of your next Core Skill cast by 10%, up to 30%.
- Critical Strikes grant 14.0% Movement Speed for 1 second, up to 6 seconds.
- You gain 0.40% increased Armor for 4 seconds when you deal any form of damage, stacking up to 40.00%.
- Pulverize is now also an Earth Skill. After casting Pulverize, tectonic spikes continue to deal 419 damage over 2 seconds.
- When you use a Shapeshifting Skill that changes your form, gain 80 Life. If you are at full Life, gain the same amount as Fortify.
You can probably see why this is so good. You constantly get Life, Fortify or a Barrier, the letter of which even increases your damage. Having Basic Skills make Core Skills more powerful is an absolute cheat code though.

Best Boons
At Level 15, you unlock your class specialization, the Spirit Boons. For this, you need to conquer the Stronghold in Tur Dulra in Scosglen and finish the Priority Quest that starts there.
The Boons are frankly only ok, but I won't say no to some bonuses. After you finished the quest, you unlock four animal spirits, who you can give Druidic Spirit Offerings to. This will unlock different Boons. Once you unlock every Boon, you can pick one animal spirit and equip a second Boon from them.
Here are the Boons I have equipped:
- Deer: Wariness
- Eagle: Iron Feather, Swooping Attacks
- Snake: Calamity
- Wolf: Calm Before The Storm
