Diablo 4 players were complaining about the lack of inventory space for quite some time. Now the devs have announced some changes. Read everything about it here.
Diablo 4 is all about gearing up and getting stronger throughout the game. But what do to with all the gathered weapons and armor, that you might need later or just hadn't the chance to sell it yet. These are the problems that many Diablo players encountered during their games. Especially when all the gems are needing so much space.
Well, your cries were heard, and the developers announced to work on some changes for the inventory
Diablo 4: Inventory Rework Announced
Huge amounts of loot are nothing new for experienced players of the Diablo series. And the loot explosions might be one of the most addictive features of the game, besides the pure game fun. But these loot explosions have one big negative aspect, your inventory is full nearly all the time.
Players have cried out for changes for quite some time now, especially the situation with the Gems is complicated. These shiny stones just fill up your inventory space way too quickly, and the community demanded a separate Gems pouch or other inventory options.
Now, the developers reacted and announced some changes to the inventory. According to Game Director Joe Piepiora, they heard all the concerns about the lack of storage space and working on a few things to fix it.
We definitely hear everybody about this. We are talking about what we need to do with this. We've got good plans of things we can do to improve the situation. I know it's frustrating to hear me say this. [...] We are moving really quickly on this, and we're gonna be trying to provide more space in the future.
Adam Fletcher, Community Lead, added, that they planned to make the gems part of the materials in the future.
I know when that hits, it will obviously free up a lot of stash space
It will be interesting to see, how the community will react to these announcements and if other changes for the inventory system will come with it as well. But for now, a lot of players will be happy to hear, that their concerns were addressed. Of course, we will keep you up to date, when new information get dropped.
