Final Fantasy 16 Patron's Whisper Guide: Renown System And Rewards
Final Fantasy 16 will have a renown system which can help you during your playthrough. Here is how it works: There are several people in the in-game world that will donate crates filled with items and resources to you. You can get them, when you increase your renown by solving missions.
You're able to claim this donation from the character Desiree. Just talk to her and choose the "Patron's Whisper" dialog option. You will find Desiree and the Patron's Whisper in Cid's Hideaway, the central hub area of the game. The Hideaway will be unlocked while progressing through the game's campaign.
The Donation Crests
As stated before, the crates come from different people in the world when you increase your renown enough. The crates contain items, resources or materials. You can use them to craft or upgrade equipment. Also, some of them might contain ability points, which you need to learn or upgrade skills and abilities.
