One of the most recent character releases in Genshin Impact is Neuvillette. He is the Chief Justice of the new Hydro region Fontaine and plays an important role in the new region's Archon Quest. If I had to describe Neuvillette, one of the first things that comes to mind, would be something alongside elegance, justice, and … French? Turns out, these are the perfect attributes to become the next big TikTok trendsetter!
I know, I know, I do sound a little crazy as I'm trying to explain to you, that the Chief Justice Neuvillette is some sort of TikTok star, but hear me out! (And let's be real, I probably am.)
To be fair, I think if he would know what TikTok was, he couldn’t care less about some superficial and irrelevant social media app, yet his face is all over said platform! But how did our Hydro dragon end up being the next trendsetter?

Neuvillette Makes You Want To Dance
To make this all make a bit more sense, I should probably be a bit more specific. It is important to note, that we are purely talking about the English version of Genshin Impact.

Since the Hydro region Fontaine is based on the city of Paris from our real world, among other things, it is not too far off that you can repeatedly find French terms all across this part of the map.
One of said terms which is used quite frequently is the name of a machine which can be found in the Court of Fontaine's Opera Epiclese. Neuvillette as the main judge uses this overdimensional scale to verify his previously made judgments. Of course, we are speaking of the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale! That's quite the tongue twister, isn’t it? — And that's exactly the point!
Since this machine's name is so hard to pronounce for non-French speaking people like most of us are, it is quite satisfying to hear Neuvillette saying this phrase over and over again without any struggles! Props to Ray Chase who is the voice actor behind Neuvillette's English version for getting this out so fluently!
Ever since players noticed how satisfying this exact name sounds, they decided there is just ONE logical thing to do out of this now: Let's make it a TikTok trend! — And what are they doing exactly, you may ask? They dance to it, obviously! To be precise, the point of this trend is to only dance, when Neuvillette is saying his magical words and to freeze up again, if he stops.

TikTok videos like this, have incredible amounts of views after a short amount of time. Tuonto reached round 500,000 people with his version of the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale dance. The point is by the way not to dance in a good-looking way, you have to do it as strange and goofy as possible of course!
Would you give this little dance a try? Many others did so what's the harm, am I right? I love how Genshin players find ways to make social media trends out of their favorite game, which leave other TikTok users completely clueless what is even going on.
