GTA 6 Will Have Multiple Cities & Be 500 Hours Long

Business insider Michael Pachter revealed some tasty GTA 6 info on YouTube, including the fact that the game will have more than one city and that it will be a massive experience.

After years and years of waiting for any sign from Rockstar, they finally announced GTA 6 a couple of months ago. The rumor mill has been pretty quiet since then, not too many leaks and reveals have happened – until now. We just got a big update on GTA 6 by notorious business insider Michael Pachter and boy oh boy... this one is tasty. Let's take a look at what the old man had to say on the next GTA game.

GTA 6 Will Have At Least 4 Cities & It Will Be 500 Hours Long

Pachter, who has been a business analyst and insider in the video game industry for many many years, took to YouTube to talk shop about GTA 6. He revealed some things that he heard from the development team, including the fact that Rockstar has been working on GTA 6 since 2014! So it's gonna be around 10 years of development time when GTA 6 comes out in a couple of years. And what is taking so long? The game is absolutely massive, according to Pachter:

My understanding is that it is a mash-up of Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City and Europe. London, for sure. You will be able to go anywhere and have missions that will take you to all of those places. It will probably be a 400-500 hour game, by the time they get it out.

God damn... that sounds unbelievable! I mean it, quite hard to believe. At least four cities, most of them old ones? I don't know... unless they want to turn GTA Online into an MMO? Make it as massive as WoW and have it be a permanent online game... why not? This is just my own speculation though. But I have to admit, the idea of Rockstar coming back to Europe after GTA London in 1999 is very, very cool.

Pachter is a weird, old dude but as I said, he has been in the industry for longer than I'm alive so I definitely want to believe him. But of course, as usual with these things, you should take it with a grain of salt. It is, after all, just a weird old dude sitting in his office being like "here's what I heard!", so... you know, not the worst source we ever heard, but also far from official confirmation. But we do want to believe...
