Hogwarts Legacy: PS4 And Xbox One Release Delayed

Warner Bros doesn't have good news for all you PS4 and Xbox One owner's out there. Unfortunately, Hogwarts Legacy will be delayed once again. But don't worry, we at least know how long you'll have to wait with a new release date already set.

If you own a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One and you've been patiently waiting for Hogwarts Legacy , then we have some bad news for you. It was just announced that the Harry Potter game has been delayed for the old gen consoles.

These game versions were supposed to release in April, but have unfortunately, been pushed back. Patience is a virtue, am I right?

Hogwarts Legacy Release For PS4 and Xbox One Pushed Back

Warner Bros revealed on Monday that Hogwarts Legacy will only be available in May for anyone wanting to play on the PS4 and on the Xbox One.

We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the response to Hogwarts Legacy from fans around the globe. The team is working hard to deliver the best possible experience on all platforms and we need more time to do this. Hogwarts Legacy will launch for PS4 and Xbox One May 5, 2023.

The versions for the PS5 and the Xbox Series, as well as for the PC were released on February 10, 2023. On the other hand, PS4 and Xbox One players still have it better than anyone wanting to play on the Nintendo Switch, with the release date being July 25, 2023 for that console.

It's always upsetting to see a game get pushed back, but at least we can hope that it's for the greater good of the game and that the team is just working on some last-minute bug issues so that it can be smooth sailing from the moment you play. So, let's just stay patient and then play some Hogwarts Legacy soon!
