Rumbleverse is a melee battle-royale from Epic Games, that looks to make it big. Is Rumbleverse free-to-play though?
Rumbleverse looks a lot like Fortnite and that's intentional: Though the game is developed by Iron Galaxy, the publisher is Epic Games, and they gave Rumbleverse the Fortnite facelift for a reason: They want this game to be successful. Duh. A lot of people have been asking for melee in Fortnite, and it seems Epic listened: Now we're getting an exclusive melee battle royale.
Is Rumbleverse Free to Play?
Yes, Rumbleverse is entirely free to play. Just like Fortnite, the game can be downloaded from the Epic Games Store, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Marketplace for free. Epic knows a thing or five-hundred-gazillion about making a free game profitable, and they will, undoubtedly, use the same practices in Rumbleverse. The Early Access Pack already gives us an idea as to what Epic's monetization plans are: For $30 you can get guaranteed early access, as well as skins and Brawlla Bucks, which are the game's currency. So, yes, if you know how Fortnite is being monetized, you know what to expect from Rumbleverse.
Anyway, the game is released for free on February 15, and if you can't wait until then, then you can check out our article on how to get into the game's early access, which starts a week earlier on February 8. Either way, you won't have to wait long until you cans start suplexing people from skyscrapers in Rumbleverse.
