For now, let's move on and see which is the best combat style to choose for Lies of P.
Lies of P: Which Combat Style Is The Best
Lies of P has three different combat styles that you can choose from: the Path of the Cricket, the Path of the Bastard and the Path of the Sweeper.
Each path will afford you different stats and start you off with a different weapon. Base your choice off of the stats, rather than your starting weapon, as you can pick up and equip any weapon that you find later on in the game.
The Path of the Cricket offers a more balanced playstyle to start off with. The Path of the Bastard gives you more dexterity, and the Path of the Sweeper gives you more strength.
We would personally recommend choosing the Path of the Cricket to start off, especially if you're a beginner player and haven't had much experience when it comes to Souls-like games so far.
Choosing the Path of the Cricket is like getting the best of both worlds. You'll have a decent amount of power AND stamina, which will allow you to switch between an evasive and a more head-on approach to the game. You can deal quite a bit of damage, while also being able to afford taking a few hits from your enemies, without having to worry about having to restart the fight again.
While both the Path of the Bastard and the Path of the Sweeper offer fun ways to play Lies of P as well, they can be a bit trickier to master and can lead to more frustration, especially if you are new to Souls-like games like this.
Obviously there's never a one-size-fits-all type of solution, so if you're a more advanced player, or you're revving up for a challenge, then hey, go for the other combat styles if you like!
