According to a new report, Ubisoft's new Star Wars open-world game code-named Project Helix could release earlier than we thought.
With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor we just got a new game in the Star Wars universe this year. While the launch of that game was overshadowed by bad performance issues on PC and console, fans of the franchise still got an interesting story and fun gameplay. Even though many players might have not even completed Jedi Survivor, we already know of another Star Wars game being developed by Ubisoft Massive.
Massive is best known for The Division 1 and 2 and the Star Wars game, currently known as Project Helix, has been in development for quite some time and is supposed to have an open world.

New Star Wars Game Release Date Rumors
According to a report by Kotaku, the new Star Wars game is scheduled to release this fiscal year, which would be between April 2023 and March 2024. Since we just got Jedi Survivor and we know Ubisoft... we would rather bet on a release in early 2024, though.
Should this report be true, we could expect more info on the new Star Wars game on the next Ubisoft Forward, taking place on June 12, 2023.
We know, this isn't much to go on, but hey, better than nothing, right? Are you hyped for another Star Wars game and do you think Ubisoft can pull it off? We all know how often Skull & Bones was already delayed, so let's hope Ubisoft can stick to their deadlines this time...
