A well-known leaker from the Persona series is back and has some new details about the upcoming titles from Atlus. Apparently there are some projects hidden in the dark yet to be announced!
A well known Persona leaker called by the name "MbKKssTBhz5" aka Midroi keeps sharing new details about the upcoming plans and projects from Atlus.
The reliable source has been providing some insights in the latest projects in the past and even confirmed their existence before the initial announcement from the company. Like the Persona 3 Reload or Persona 5 Tactica.
Now she is back and has another juicy information she wanted to share with us.
Atlus Is Interested In Remaking Persona 1 & 2 Remake
Midori not only shared some details about Persona 3 Reload or Persona 5 Tactica, but also a possible release window from Persona 6 and what we may expect. According to her Persona 6 is the main focus from Atlus beside every other ongoing project.
On her Twitter account, she answered some lingering questions among her followers. According to her, Atlus and Sega are interested in remaking some games from various franchises. But as for now, Persona 3 Reload is the only remake currently in development.
However, she noted:
Atlus really wants to make Persona 1 & Persona 2 remake. I do not know if P1 or P2 remake is in development right now. But there is a Persona game next year with P1 & P2 characters in it.
The game which may include those characters is called "Persona Asa". The spin-off will supposedly be announced within the same time frame as Persona 6 as well.
Question 3:Are you really sure there are no other remakes in development at Atlus?Answer:Atlus and Sega are experimenting with many remake ideas for different franchises. But there is nothing in end production like P3RE right now. Atlus really wants to make a P1/P2 remake.

Persona Asa may be a love letter for the fans but it's still meant for everyone, and it includes every single main character from the series. And with spin-offs like these, Atlus want to provide reasons to revisit older titles.
But for revisiting the older titles, we need those on the current platforms. Both games are difficult to come by at this point, and a re-release stayed in Japan.
It would be fantastic having the roots of the Persona series on modern consoles, so they could properly be enjoyed and honored.
