PlayStation Plus December Games Leaked: Yes, They Suck Again

The PlayStation Plus games for December 2021 got leaked, and they are not exactly exciting.

So the PlayStation Plus games have been whack for a while now: Month, after month, after month, we're getting some weak games. Now, December joins the list of disappointments. The German PlayStation Twitter account accidentally tweeted (and has since deleted) the PS Plus lineup that we can expect to be released this weekend. No need to hold on to anything for this reveal, because these games are not really worth your time.

PS Plus Free Games December 2021 Revealed

LEGO DC Super Villains

A Lego game. Yay. To be fair though, I don't want to be too harsh on this one, since the little ones can get some enjoyment out of this. If you have kids that like to game, this game is a no-brainer. Also, it's worth a drunk co-op evening with friends. If you're somehow not familiar with the LEGO games, then here's a review to change that:

Mortal Shell

Actually not a bad game at all. If you like Dark Souls, you'll enjoy Mortal Shell. It's not exactly a carbon-copy, but no one would be offended if you did call it that. The main difference in Mortal Shells is that you inhibit shells, which you can then customize within certain parameters. This is not a bad game at all, just not a game that anyone would splash money on, when FromSoftware games are all that and more. Still, this is as good of a warm-up for Elden Ring as you'll get. I'm assuming the devs had the Elden Ring release date in February penciled in, and want to cash in on the hype. Definitely the best game in this PS Plus December line-up.

Godfall: Challenger Edition

For months now, I've been saying that Godfall needs to be a PS Plus game. It's the type of mindless hack-and-slash that you'd never pay money for, but, when available for free, it's a solid couple hours of gorgeous fun. You won't go wrong with this one, but it won't exactly be a game to remember either.
