Starfield offers you a vast playground with a lot of different activities. Getting sick is sadly a part of it. Here's how you patch yourself up and which ailments can occur during your playthrough.
Bethesda's Starfield combines different elements from various genres to craft an exciting sci-fi experience. For example: Mainly it's an RPG game, but it does have some survival-like features as well.
Throughout your journey, you'll encounter various negative conditions that can have an impact on your health. So it's essential to look after your character to prevent more significant problems.
Here we have an overview about all the ailments in the game and how you cure them!
Starfield: Affliction & Prognosis System
Starfield features a fairly complex rule of affliction mechanics. The basic afflictions will have only a single symptom, such as Lung Damage. The longer you'll have the condition, the worse it gets. The worst afflictions will have up to three symptoms at the same time and will greatly affect you.
Beside the affliction mechanic, there is also the "Prognosis system". This system will determine how long it takes for an affliction to heal on its own, if you don't treat yourself. It ranges between "Poor" to "Excellent".
But keep in mind: A "poor" prognosis will never heal on its own, it will only slightly improve over time.
