That we're getting a Nintendo Switch 2 is not really news at this point. Unfortunately, we don't know much about this upcoming console, but fans should expect Nintendo to once again release an exciting selection of games.

An insider has now revealed what some of these exciting games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 could be, with one of them being a remake from a Wii U classic that should get everyone excited.

Insider Reveals Switch 2 Remake Of Long-Forgotten Wii U Game

The Wii U feels like a fever dream, but it was real and while the console failed miserably, there were a few pretty decent games. One of those was Xenoblade Chronicles X. While the game has enjoyed a passionate fanbase, it's been stuck on the Wii U for years. That might change soon, as the game could get a remake .

Of course, this information is just a rumor for now. Zippo is a self-proclaimed Nintendo Insider who has revealed this information. He's got a spotty track record, but has gotten things right in the past. So while you should enjoy this information with a grain of salt, there is a good chance that it could be correct.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was released for the Wii U in 2015 at the worst time possible. Just two years after release, the console was completely abandoned due to poor sales, which means a lot of players didn't have the chance to try it out when it first came out, which would make this remake an insane redemption arc of sorts.

According to Zippo, Monolith Productions are currently working on a "full remake" of the game, which was one of Nintendo's first attempts at an open world similar to the ones seen in the most recent Zelda games. But as mentioned, it was missed out on by a large portion of gamers due to the poor reception and sales of the Wii U.
