An Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon box art-leak reveals how FromSoftware planned to handle the multiplayer aspect from the game. And that's surely not the well-known souls-way of doing it.
Armored Core 6 is only a few weeks away, and we still have a lot of lingering questions. For example, how the crossplay feature could play out or if there is a possible way playing alongside with your friends.
The latter got a new leak coming our way, showing off how the multiplayer system could work in Armored Core 6. And it seems as if we aren't getting just a simple one-o-one versus mode, like previously thought.
Armored Core 6: Multiplayer Includes Up To Nine People
Since there aren't any official announcements yet, take this leak with a little bit grain of salt. But apparently the multiplayer mode in Armored Core 6 will support an up to six players battle, with an additional three that can spectate the action.
Armored Core 6 cases have been spotted in the wild. According to the description, the game will support up to 6-player multiplayer with 3 spectators. -We still don't have details about multiplayer, but according to Italian journalists, the embargo for gameplay lifts next week. pic.twitter.com/hCThzVuzu6

As for now, we have to wait for further announcements. But details like that could be confirmed within a few days, because the release date is just around the corner. And assuming the Italian journalist are right, the embargo for new gameplay footage will lift in a few days.
Let's hope that's true, and we finally get some answers, because I surely can't wait to have a better grasp of what we will get with the 6th Armored Core installment!
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is set to release on August 25 for PC, Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
