K'Sante was confirmed to be gay by Riot Games. He even had a boyfriend with whom he had a falling out because K'Sante was too obsessed with hunting dangerous creatures. So honestly, his release lore was more of a breakup story than anything else. But would you love a man obsessed with his work 24/7? | © Riot Games
Varus might not really be gay, since he is just a Darkin, but the weapon Varus fused together two gay men to become Varus. If that makes sense. So obviously, we have to include him on our list, since technically Varus is in some odd way part of the LGBTQIA+ community. | © Riot Games
Rell has also been confirmed to be bisexual. Her voice lines hint at it and with Riot adding her into official Pride art, it's a done deal for her. Honestly, an iconic bisexual character and we love her for it. | © Riot Games
Neeko is confirmed to be somewhat in love with Nidalee and other women she sees, but it's also been implied that Nidalee reciprocates Neeko's affection. While we don't know whether she is bisexual, pansexual or a lesbian, we do believe she is also part of the LGBTQIA+ community. | © Riot Games
During her conception phase, Taliyah was supposed to become the first official transgender champion in League of Legends. Unfortunately, this has only been hinted at though and while she is trans in the Star Guardian universe, Riot never confirmed whether she is in Runeterra as well. But most people still go with the narrative, and we hope one day Riot can officially say whether she is trans. | © Riot Games
Sett and Aphelios are in multiple skin lines together and even share multiple splash arts. Yes, we can see Aphelios in Sett's Firecracker skin splash. While the fans continuously ship these two, Riot has never confirmed whether they are part of the LGBTQIA+ community in canon. Happy Pride Month, everyone! In honor and in celebration of this wonderful month, we decided to take a look at all the champions that part of the LGBTQIA+ gang. Some of these faces you will know, others you might be surprised to hear about.
We're glad that Riot is taking this month so seriously and are such positive advocates for it. They even released some cool stuff for it!
