Project L was finally shown off to the world at Evo 2023 and while the game is far from release, some champions have been revealed. One of them is Yasuo who will be part of the lineup. We let you know how to play him once Project L releases.
The first few Project L champions have been unveiled. Thus far, content creators have had a chance to test out four different fighters and at Evo 2023 fans from all over also finally got their hands on the fighting game.
One of the newest additions to the champion pool of Project L is none other than our favorite wind brother (don't tell Yone) – Yasuo. Now players can even flash their Mastery 7 token in Project L. But, how do you play Yasuo?
Project L: Yasuo the Unforgiven – Moveset Explanation
We all know and love – or hate – Yasuo in League of Legends. He's an iconic champion so him making his way to Project L is no surprise. He was one of the four characters that players could test out at Evo 2023 and he's got quite a lot of cool and unique abilities.
Yasuo is going to be the first stance character in the game, focusing on a defensive play style and punishing the actions from the enemy with his Quickdraw Stance. He offers extreme mobility on the ground and in midair alike.
While performing his stance, he cancels moves from others and quickly utilize many different chain combinations with a frame-perfect window. Making him a fearsome foe in capable hands.
As this game includes the duo-mechanics with Assist Actions, Handshake Tag and Dynamic Safe, you are able to switch your characters while performing a special move, utilizing perfect DHC (Delayed Hyper Combo) attacks.
But with Yasuo you don't need to switch out the character to perform a DHC move at all. He can DHC himself and perform massive damage, while performing level 1,2 or 3 combos. If the input is correct, he's able to deal damage around 60 - 70 percent of the enemy's health bar.
He's the perfect example of an "easy to learn and hard to master" character. Beginner players of fighting games need to invest time and effort to become skilled with him, which makes him less easy to play compared to other characters in the game.
