We knew that Taliyah would be getting a Star Guardian skin, but there is more to her skin than just that. By purchasing it, you also do good.
Taliyah is finally getting a new skin. After two years, she will be receiving a whole new look and for once, her skin is not blue. Who would have thought that this day would eventually come, eh? She is going to help save the world from Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks alongside Kai'Sa and LoL's newest champion, Nilah.
But not only will they be saving their own virtual world, but by purchasing Star Guardian Taliyah, you will also do good for our own planet according to Riot. Let's check out the details surrounding Taliyah's newest League of Legends skin.
SG Taliyah Skin Proceeds Donation
According to the official League of Legends Twitter account, players who buy the Star Guardian skins will be directly impacting the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. 100% of proceeds from the SG Taliyah skin will be going into the fund. A similar initiative was done earlier this year when funds from the Bee skins were donated to aid Ukraine after Russia invaded the country.
During Which Time Period Should You Buy SG Taliyah?
You have one month to purchase that Star Guardian Taliyah skin. Proceeds between July 28 and August 29, 2022, will be put into the Social Impact Fund and donated to a good cause by Riot Games. What are you waiting for then, go out there and get some Riot Points, so you can get an epic new skin, as well as do some good by donating to charity.
When is Star Guardian Taliyah Available?
The new Star Guardian skins have been revealed already, but Taliyah is not one of them. The Star Guardians that will hit the rift in League of Legends Patch 12.13 are going to be Kai'Sa, Sona, Nilah, Ekko and their enemy Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks.
In League of Legends Patch 12.14 more skins are going to be released though and Taliyah will be one of them. LoL Patch 12.14 will be available Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She will be getting a Star Guardian skin alongside Quinn, Rell and Akali. Morgana will likely also be getting a Star Nemesis skin, while Syndra will have a remade prestige skin which will see her become a villain as well.
Riot is going all-in with the Star Guardian event in 2022, adding multiple skins into Wild Rift as well and making them exclusive to the platform. We wouldn't say no to a Star Guardian Orianna or Seraphine skin in League of Legends as well, eh?
