The preload for multiple versions of Dragon's Dogma 2 has been revealed thanks to leaks, showing us the download size and when you can start installing the game.
Capcom's latest fantasy role-playing game,Dragon's Dogma 2, is set to release on March 22, 2024, and will take players on an adventure through a huge, expansive open world.
Big RPGs like this, often require over 100 GB of free storage space. Think of Baldur's Gate 3 from 2023, for example. So do we all need to clear out our hard drives for Dragon's Dogma 2?
Dragon's Doga 2 Download Size & Preload Dates
The Dragon's Dogma 2 preload on Xbox Series X/S has already begun, revealing that the download size is 69.95 GB. The download size on PS5 and PC has not yet been confirmed, but is unlikely to differ significantly. We will get the answer to that question soon, at least on Sony's console, as the preload will become available there on March 20. A PC preload hasn't been confirmed yet but can be expected to start at a similar date.
In terms of download size, Dragon's Dogma is notably smaller than something like Baldur's Gate 3, but approximately 25 GB larger than its fantasy counterpart, Elden Ring. The preload for Capcom's upcoming role-playing game on Xbox Series X/S has begun, confirming the download size.
For such a great game, the data size is manageable. We still have a few days to clean up our hard drives to make room for Dragons Dogma 2 — and we can pass the time with the already released character editor.
