Elden Ring fans have been patiently waiting for DLC, but it seems that the rumors of a February release might be way off.
Elden Ring is one of the best games of the last few years. A DLC was announced a while ago, which had fans excited to come back to the game to explore even more. There had been rumors about a release in February, but new evidence will leave fans disappointed.
Elden Ring DLC Not Coming In Early 2024
Elden Ring's DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is garnering more and more hype. Fans have tried to estimate a release date by analyzing Taylor Swift songs, while others have been hanging onto the words of any and every leaker out there.
Elden Ring DLC is mentioned in the 'medium to long-term' section of today's Kadokawa financial report."We are currently working hard on the development of DLC for ELDEN RING but we have not announced a release date at this time."Looks like it's joever for a Feb release. pic.twitter.com/V0NySjLaQc

But in the recent Kadokawa financial report, a release window for the DLC was mentioned, and it isn't looking to be February. Instead, the Elden Ring DLC was placed in the medium to long term section of the report.
FromSoftware will further step up efforts to improve profitability in the medium to long terms. Various measures are currently in progress for Elden Ring, including the development of major DLC.
So, it looks like the DLC isn't going to release soon. Instead, we can expect it in mid or late 2024 most likely. It is good to see that this is going to be a huge DLC with a lot of content since it was mentioned to be a 'major DLC'. This has fans pretty excited about the content that is to come.
Fans are hoping for some news or updates on the DLC very soon. Some believe that in the coming month FromSoftware will make an announcement, but for now all this is just speculation.
