A Nintendo Direct is set to come in February, with a new report revealing when the show is likely to happen.
With half the world waiting anxiously for the Nintendo Switch 2, excitement is high for the next Nintendo Direct. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long, as a new report by Universo Nintendo claims.
Nintendo Direct February 2024 Date Leaked
According to the report, the much-anticipated next Nintendo Direct will happen at some point next week, more concretely between Monday, February 12 and Thursday, February 15. It was already rumored before that a Nintendo Direct will come in February, as the Japanese company usually hosts one in that time, now it is all but confirmed. Unfortunately, the exact date is not known yet and Nintendo usually only announces them around a day before the stream.
It’s unclear whether this will be a big Nintendo Direct or a smaller one. It’s also not known yet whether we will already see the Switch successor, which is rumored to launch later this year. The show will very likely feature Nintendo’s slate of games for 2024, including the upcoming Mario vs. Donkey Kong (February 16) and Princess Peach: Showtime (March 22), as well as titles without a concrete date like the Paper Mario and Luigi’s Mansion remakes.
You can also expect a slew of third-party titles. Considering the fairly thin first-party line-up, fans are hoping to get at least a first tease for the Switch 2 and its first games. Maybe we will finally see Metroid Prime 4 as well?
