Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown made a mighty good impression at the beginning of the year. Players who can't get enough of the game now have more content to look forward to, as Ubisoft has shared the first post-launch roadmap for the metroidvania, which has quite a bit in store for you.

Upcoming The Lost Crown Updates Bring Story DLC And More

The update series doesn't keep you waiting for long. You can already enjoy the first new content starting from March 20.

The first updates are available for free. First, you can dive into 2 new modes with the Warrior's Path patch, awakening the hardcore gamer within you. The Speedrun Mode and the Permadeath Mode promise challenging experiences, and you can look super cool while doing it because you'll also get 4 new outfits for Sargon.

If that's not enough for you, look forward to the Boss Attack Update in the spring, which introduces a Boss Rush mode and even more outfits.

With that, you should be well occupied until summer when the next content bomb drops. Divine Trials brings more combat, platform, and puzzle challenges, accompanied by new amulets, even more outfits, "and more."

All these updates are available for free, but you'll have to pay for the final one. The first story DLC will be released "later in 2024."

If you own a PlayStation or an Xbox and haven't played The Lost Crown yet, now is a good time to start because the base game is currently discounted by a juicy 40%. And believe us: It's worth it. According to critics, The Lost Crown is the best Prince of Persia installment ever.
