According to a new rumor, the Nintendo Switch 2 could be revealed very soon.
Everyone is waiting on the successor to the Switch, one of the best-selling consoles of all time. Now, a new rumor is stoking fires again, as notable insider Nate the Hate claimed that the Nintendo Switch 2 could already be revealed in March.
Nate the Hate is an insider who has previously been correct on revealing Nintendo-related info early, like predicting Nintendo Directs or revealing the fact that Game Boy games would come to the Switch. Now, Nate has talked about the Switch 2 and when we can expect to finally see the console.
Switch 2 Reveal Apparently In March, Release In Fall
On his YouTube show, he said he expects the Switch 2 to be in March. This is in part due to long-running rumors and insider talk he has heard, pointing towards March as the perfect reveal time. The Game Developers Conference (GDC) will also happen that month, which Nate calls “a significant venue to meet with partners and show what the Switch 2 is going to be”.
This is of course just a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. Nate is well-informed, though, so his claim can definitely be taken seriously, and March is a likely time for the reveal. The console’s actual launch could be in Fall, more concretely at some point from September to November.
The original Nintendo Switch was revealed on October 20, 2016, and released a little over four months later on March 3, 2017.
He also talks about the Nintendo Direct in February, which has been long rumored. Nate claims it will be a partner-focused show, meaning that the focus will not be on Nintendo itself but on games by other developers.
Do you think we will see the Switch 2 in March? When do you expect the console to release? Let us know in the comments!
