Elden Ring fans are going through it. Constant back and forth regarding potential release dates of the DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, must have given them whiplash by this point. The fans have gone as far as to analyze Taylor Swift songs to try and figure out when the DLC will release.

But now slightly more concrete evidence has emerged which has the fans huffing that copium once more, and this time we've again got to look at SteamDB.

Elden Ring DLC: New Information On SteamDB

Throughout the last few weeks, players have observed multiple adjustments and changes in the Elden Ring Steam database entry, indicating that something is brewing in the background. This has players convinced that the game's Steam page is being readied for the big release of Shadow of the Erdtree.

Now, another change was made to the Steam entry, with an update to the Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack being spotted by fans. These are just a few of many changes that have taken place recently, which makes Elden Ring players believe that the official reveal of the DLC isn't too far off.

Updating the artbook and the soundtrack means that there is definitely new content coming to the game. Obviously, it'll mean that new music and art is being added. These new additions will be part of an update to the game, which most are thinking is going to be the DLC.

Of course, players shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. In an investor call in early February by FromSoftware parent company Kadokawa, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree was listed in the "medium to long term" section. This had many fans upset and thinking that Shadow of the Erdtree might be further out than initially anticipated.

For now, it's just a guessing game when the DLC is actually going to release, but with the Elden Ring Steam page getting more and more updates, fans have continued to keep their hopes high. Hopefully we get more information from the developers soon. Until it's confirmed, just keep huffing on that copium.
